Our headquarters in Croatia are situated on the Murter peninsula, right next to the town of Hramina. Hramina marina is in private hands and this has positive effects on the marina’s appearance as the administrations, as well as the restaurant, have been renovated. New sanitary facilities have been built too.
Additionally, a little supermarket was opened. You will have no trouble leaving your car as there is plenty of cheap parking (costs: ca. EUR 5 per day). And to guarantee your security, the marina is guarded day and night.
In the town of Hramina, which is about 5 min away by foot from the marina, you’ll find more supermarkets, a pizzeria, a variety of other restaurants, and cozy cafes. Enhance your recreational program by taking lessons at the scuba diving station, or rent scooters or bikes. There is an international ATM in the center of town where you can get cash anytime. The Murter peninsula is a popular area for vacationing. There are as much as 3 marinas, numerous camping grounds, and lots of private pensions offering rooms and apartments for rent. This is especially noticeable in the main season, when Murter’s towns are dominated by tourists.
If you’re traveling by car, you can get to Murter on the coastal road (Magistrale) via Rijeka and Zadar in the direction of Sibenik. Right after Pakostane, follow the signs to Murter. Or you can drive via Zagreb and Karlovac along the highway heading to Split. From Pirovac to Murter it’s only about 20 km. Please click on “FAQs” or “Links” for more information on how to get to Murter by car. We are also happy to send you a street map.
If you travel by plane, you can choose between Split International Airport and Zadar Airport. Croatia Airlines is a young airline that has one of Europe’s most modern fleets at its disposal. The average age of the types Airbus A-139, A-320 and ATR-42 is no more than 4 years. The staff at our headquarters in Germany (see “Contacts”) will be glad to assist you with the transfer from the airport to Hramina marina.
As a point of departure, Murter has much to offer. The peninsula offers plenty of beautiful bays, partly accompanied by lovely sandy beaches, where you can anchor and swim. The Kornati are only 11 sea miles away. Or you can travel south and visit the islands of Vis, Solta, Brac, Hvar, Korcula or Lastovo on a week-long cruise.
